By traversing either of our two drawbridges you enter “The Island”, where your worries of the Mainland are miraculously left behind, and you quickly slip into “Island Time”, where the longnecks are colder, the food is tastier, the locals are friendlier, the fish fight harder, but most importantly, watches and cell phones are optional.

From I-10 East (if coming from Texas) take I-210E to Prien Lake Exit. Go South to Country Club Rd. and turn RIGHT. Turn LEFT (South) on Big Lake Highway (Hwy 384). Turn RIGHT onto Big Pasture Road (Hwy 1144) then RIGHT onto Hebert Camp Road. When Hebert Camp reaches the Lake turn LEFT onto Martin Hebert Street and follow it to Cocahoes.
From I-10 West (if coming from Lafayette) take I-210W to Hwy 14 Exit and go South. Turn RIGHT on Gautier Rd.and LEFT on Hwy 384. At Boone's Corner proceed West 2 miles. Turn LEFT onto Big Pasture Road (Hwy 1144) then RIGHT onto Hebert Camp Road. When Hebert Camp reaches the Lake turn LEFT onto Martin Hebert Street and follow it to Cocahoes.
