Cocahoes is a Sports Bar and Café situated at Hebert’s Marina, on the picturesque waters of Calcasieu Lake.  “Big Lake,” as locals call it, is considered by most  as one of the most productive waters along the entire Gulf Coast when it comes to catching world-class speckled trout and red fish.  The primary lure contributing to the success of many anglers on Big Lake has been, and remains, the Cocahoe Minnow.

THE ISLAND

Equally renowned for its trophy trout and red fishing, is Cocahoes’ laid back, friendly atmosphere.  By traversing either of our two drawbridges you enter “The Island”, where your worries of the Mainland are miraculously left behind, and you quickly slip into “Island Time”, where the longnecks are colder, the food is tastier, the locals are friendlier, the fish fight harder, but most importantly, watches and cell phones are optional.
