Many avid outdoorsman have said that Big Lake displays the most magnificent sunsets that Southwest Louisiana has to offer.  At Cocahoes, our sun-room is perfectly situated to provide you and your fellow Islanders with a front row seat to “The Show”.  As the sun races downward in the western sky, all will anticipate its approach of the horizon.  And just as it vanishes from sight, it will be ushered off the stage of the horizon by a vigorously ringing bell, a fire blowing demonstration, and the roaring applause of the Cocahoe’s crowd.  And what celebration would be complete without a FREE SHOT, freshly made and poured, for all to enjoy?  Your initiation as a full-fledged “Islander” is now complete, and you are now free to partake in ALL that its illustrious title entails…BUT EVEN “ISLANDERS” MUST PAY THEIR BAR-TAB!!

Whether you are returning from a day on the lake, fishing and boating, or just spending time on “The Island” for a little rest and relaxation, at Cocahoes you will likely find friendly locals eager to share their fish tales about the “one that got away”.  But after a few cold ones, they just might be coaxed into giving up the coordinates of their sacred fishing holes, or the name of their secret lures.
